Looking for a new role in the Sth Eastern Suburbs with a global manufacturing brand??
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional to join this iconic brand. You will be an excellent communicator with strong negotiation skills , capable of formulating mid to long term contracts and agreements. As an active participant in global commodity management team you will need superior reporting skills and organisational forecasting. This role will expect the successful applicant to Identify, evaluate and provide recommendations on suitable opportunities for sourcing of raw material and components as requested by Product Managers, R&D, Sales and Marketing, and other departments and in line with KPI targets.
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate a strong track record in the following;
- Implementation
- Strategic sourcing and procurement activities
- Create, negotiate & manage Supplier Agreements
Previous experience with scheduling, inventory control, Kanban, ISOR / requisitions and Vendor Management Inv will be required.
