Debt Collection Officer - Immediate Start


Melbourne
This is an opportunity for an experienced Debt Collection Officer to take on an on-going role for a services organisation based in Heidelberg. Responsible for your own portfolio of accounts, you will collect outstanding monies from customers and third party organisations which will call on your investigative abilities and reconciliations skills. You will have a confident telephone manner and be used to working in a busy environment where the ability to prioritise tasks is paramount. You will allocate incoming payments to customer accounts, identify where residual payments need to come from, and issue statements as appropriate. You will also deal with a large number of customer enquiries. You will be able to demonstrate experience in a high volume credit environment where you have undertaken allocation and reconciliation tasks in addition to telephone based collections. You will have basic Excel skills to enable accurate record keeping
