Intermediate Accountant | West Perth | $55k-$70k
Our client, a mid-sized Chartered Accounting firm in West Perth is actively looking for a business services accountant that has experience in dealing with clients in Australia and understands the local Australian tax system.
Working in an open system where you will be able to work with all members of the accounting team, you will be able to develop your knowledge in the tax and legislation system, work autonomously and have fun and learn working in a relaxed and conducive environment.
The Role
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Have strong experience in completing tax returns using MYOB AE and BGL Simple fund software
- Be able to work with different partners in the firm at different times
- Possess strong knowledge of local tax and legislation
- Continue to develop your skills and knowledge and constantly update yourself with the changes in the tax systems
- Have a positive attitude
To be considered for this role it is essential that you should:
- CA, IPA or CPA qualified
- Very strong experience with taxation legislations and completing tax returns for individuals and companies
- Have a team attitude and place importance of the interest of the clients and the team
- Possess determination and the ability to want to improve yourself and grow your career
