Accountant Intermediate level | Public Practice | $60,000 - $70,000 (Neg)
Our client is an established financial planning and accounting firm in Perth for the past 40 years is actively looking for an intermediate accountant to join their prestigious company in Subiaco. The successful applicant will report directly to a partner in the firm and will support the senior accountant in the company.
The successful applicant will have a foot in the door to explore the financial planning area of the business as well as growing and developing your career in accounting. You will have access to internal and external training, a strong support team and deal with some of the high net worth clients in WA. This is a public practice client with the preparing of tax returns for trusts, partnerships, companies, individuals and SME's
The Role
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Strong knowledge and experience in a public practice environment
- Have an exceptional written and verbal communication skill
- Have proven practical knowledge regarding the changes tax legislation
- Be able to provide practical solutions to clients
- Work closely with the Financial Planning team
- Meeting all job schedule and deadlines and budget work flow
To be considered for this role it is essential that you should:
- Possess accuracy and attention to detail
- Have good judgment and decision making skills
- CPA, CA or IPA qualification or working towards the goal
- Be able to work autonomously and work closely with the senior accountant and partner
